Journey into wildness retreat aims to experience a renewed partnership with the earth.

We believe that the time is long overdue to understand ourselves as part of the web of life; as but one of the miraculous and sacred manifestation of spirit in matter.

Our existential threat is derived from too many humans wanting too much and from the breakdown of community, in the human context and communion with the more than human world.

This four night program is designed to reconnect participants to community, in the largest sense of the word. The program is designed to enhance the capacity for wildness as a way to sustain action towards a sustainable future. It creates a synergy between ecology of wildness, the dynamics of group process and the honoring of individual journeys. It also builds from the understanding that the core of our new civilization is being build from the bones of the first peoples' heritage, of life through community and being in Country.  Participants will engage with the forest to help restore its regenerative power, thereby re-establishing us as part of the ecosystem that now needs our help.

The focus will be on participatory and embodied learning, as participants move between time alone and as a group, with the forest as a constant reference point.

Our aim is to facilitate a journey towards an ecological civilization, steeped in experiential knowledge with an attitude of inquiry and appreciation.

The facilitating team includes Professor Yin Paradies and Dr. Peter Cock from Moora Moora Cooperative.
